One of my favorite things to do in the new year is to start thinking about where I want to travel this year. There’s excitement in thinking about your next adventures, which is why these wish list posts are always fun for me to create, so it gets my brain going on where I’d like to go in 2023.
This year, I’d like to continue exploring my home state and surrounding states over long weekends. Specifically, I’d love to stay at the Airbnbs in Minnesota and Wisconsin that have been on my radar this summer and fall. I’d also love to explore the northeastern states this year, as it’s an area in the US I’ve never really explored before. How fun would a road trip be from upper New York to Maine?
That finally brings me to the big trip abroad. Last year, I went on a road trip through England + Scotland, so I checked off one place on my 2022 travel wish list. I carried over a few destinations into my list this year, but with some new additions too!
So without further ado, here are the countries I’d love to travel to this year.
Here is my top 10 travel wish list (in no particular order):
- Iceland
- New Zealand
- Japan
- Germany
- Portugal + Spain
- Ireland
- Austria
- Canada (British Columbia)
- Amsterdam
- Switzerland
Let’s hope I can check at least one these off again this year!
