July Roundup: A Photo Journal

If you read my June roundup, you’ll note that I nodded to a lot of changes happening in my life. Well, July was no different. So again, I apologize for being a little MIA on the blog. I’ll share more about the changes soon. But for now, we’ll stick to regular programming. 🙂

Which of course is my photo journal from this past month. I feel like July was full of simply just exploring San Francisco. It was full of pretty sunsets, bougainvillea fever, and seascapes. So really it’s just a roundup of some of my favorite things about the city by the bay. Enjoy!

A photo roundup from the month of July:

July is when the bougainvillea blooms in San Francisco. It’s everywhere! But where I love seeing it the most is when it’s framing building in the sweetest way.

I’ll forever have a love affair with that bridge. On one of the walks I take frequently, there are so many moments when the bridge peeks out to say hello.

My pretty city by the bay.

June gloom is a thing in San Francisco. It’s when Karl the Fog is out and about most days. But we got some visits from ole Karl this month, too.

My fire escape has some pretty views, especially during sunset.

When you find pretty gardens at the top of hotels. This is the garden at The Fairmont. They turn on lights and a fountain at night, so make sure to come back and take a peek of it in the evening as well. And I mean, look at that view!

If you’re visiting San Francisco, you must put the Letterman Digital Arts Center campus (in the Presidio) on your list. It has a beautiful creek and pond that makes for a lovely stroll on a warm day.

I told you the bougainvillea was everywhere. I snapped this somewhere on Union Street. How beautiful is that!? And when can I move in?

Hi, pretty.

A different shot of the Palace of Fine Arts. Another hot spot you need to add to your list if you’re visiting San Francisco. Spoiler alert: You’ll feel like you’re walking through a fairytale.

Just a shot from one of my walks around the city, I loved how this ivy was starting to grow up the tree.

That Fairmont hotel garden again. I bet it’s a lovely spot for an evening soiree.

I had A LOT of casual Friday’s this month. But I’m not complaining!

If you walk down California Street toward the Financial District, you’re bound to run across these steps with the beautiful greenery and planters.

It’s a day date for these two lovebirds.

On foggy days, I love getting those “peek” shots of the Golden Gate Bridge.

If you need some Parisian vibes, head over to Rose’s Cafe and sit out front on these gorgeous blue chairs. It’s one of my favorite places to grab a leisurely lunch.

And last but not least: San Francisco has some of the best sunsets.
