September Roundup: A Photo Journal

I love this time of year, when the leaves are changing colors, and you’re still getting a few warm fall days to enjoy outside before the cold sets in. And I must say, September was a busy month for me, too.

Some of those highlights include getting to stay overnight at three beautiful locations, strolling through 14 acres of gardens, reconnecting with my old stomping grounds, checking out a few breweries/wineries in the area, and more.  You can see all of my favorites snapshots from the month below. Enjoy!

A photo roundup from the month of September:

Countryside views while driving on those back roads.

Downtown reflections white taking a lunch meeting with an old friend.

Pretty scenes around Lake of the Isles, which is my favorite lake to walk around in Minneapolis.

Enjoying a gorgeous sunsets over one of the 10,000 lakes here in Minnesota.

A relaxing weekend at a beautiful cottage on Lake Sylvia.

Realizing just how beautiful the Minnesota State Capital really is. Look how majestic it is!

Exploring the gorgeous Sunken Garden at the Minnesota Zoo and Conservatory.

The vintage charm of the New Victorian Mansion Bed & Breakfast was a real treat.

I mentioned how beautiful the Conservatory was, right? If you’re in the Twin Cities, you’ll definitely have to add this to your list!

Exploring the gardens at the Winery at Sovereign Estate in Waconia.

I love all the little pops of color that you can find at Munsinger Gardens.

A nice little find: Deer Lake Orchard, where you can pick apples (Honeycrisp!) and buy pumpkins to bring on all kinds of fall vibes.

They even had these little kids hopping around the hay-bales, which I adored. Can I keep you?

There are about 4-5 fountains at Munsinger Gardens, but this one is by far the grandest. In fact, it was too tall to fit into my photo!

My stay at the Rivertown Inn in Stillwater was dreamy. More on this visit soon!
