November Roundup: A Photo Journal

I love this time of year! November is when everything starts to feel festive as we get closer to the holidays. There are family get-togethers, the balsam candles come out, and if you’re an early adopter, you might even start playing Christmas music well into the new year.

Traditionally, this month usually brings all of my immediate family members together to reside at my parent’s place for Thanksgiving. But this year, we decided to change things up. Instead, we rendezvoused to Las Vegas for a very non-traditional family vacation.

And you’re looking at a first-timer here! That’s right, I had never been to Vegas prior to this trip. And since the rest of November was quiet, my November post has been taken over by Las Vegas snaps.

So let’s jump right in. Below you’ll find some of my favorite photos from November, er, Las Vegas. Enjoy!

A photo roundup from the month of November:

Seeing the faux Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas was on my list of things to do. Should I make a Vegas guide? I think I should.

The gigantic (and sparkly) chandelier hanging from our hotel lobby. Into it.

The fountain at The Mirage is also a must-see while you’re in Las Vegas.

One of my favorite activities was heading to the Neon Museum to check out the boneyard of old Vegas signs. We went during the day, but you can also tour at night when a few of the signs light up.

I mean, look at how fun these huge vintage signs are!?

And of course, this guy was one of my favorites.

There were a lot of smaller signs too, which would make very cute home decor!

Another place I really loved was the Venetian. You feel as though you’re wandering through Venice with all the cute storefronts and gondola rides along the canal.

You’ll, of course, want to get a shot of the Eiffel Tower at night, too.

Then buy a ticket to the High Roller and get some epic views of Sin City at night.

I didn’t get a good photo, but you’ll also want to head to the Bellagio to watch the fountains at night. So fun!

I have so many more little tidbits from Las Vegas that I want to share. So what do you think – Should I make a Las Vegas travel guide? Let me know in the comments below.
