December Roundup: A Photo Journal

I’ve decided that December might be my favorite month of the year. Which is surprising, because, in Minnesota, December is damn cold! And I’m not too fond of living in the frozen tundra. But I always seem to get those warm and fuzzy feeling all through the month of December leading up into the holidays. It really is a magical time of year.

And thankfully, December weather was actually not too bad. There were a lot of days were you could walk about (or drive around) and enjoy the pretty winter wonderland that comes alive this time of year.

If you missed last month’s photo journal, you can jump in right here. But then get ready for a few snow-covered landscapes below, along with some festive snaps from the holidays. Enjoy!

A photo roundup from the month of December:

The commute is not so bad when you have beautiful sunrises each morning. Bring me that horizon.

I love waking up to a winter wonderland. I think snow-covered trees are so pretty this time of year.

Dinner and show downtown when all the buildings are lit up for the holidays.

The sunsets have been really pretty on the way home, too. My commuting life is a little more tolerable when you have these kinds of views.

Getting into the holiday spirit at my besties place. Isn’t their tree so cute!

I told you that I had a thing for snow-covered trees, right?

I felt like I was walking through a scene from Frozen. And I didn’t hate it.

And last but not least, a stunning winter landscape to warm you up.

And now we’re into a new year. I’m so excited for 2019 and what’s to come.
